SP-API Integration Scope

SellerBowl for
Amazon Sellers

SellerBowl's planned Amazon integration is designed for seller-authorized listing, catalog, inventory, order, and business-insight workflows through the official Amazon Selling Partner API after approval and implementation.

This page describes the intended SP-API integration scope; it does not state that a production OAuth or SP-API connection is currently available.

SellerBowl is a workflow platform for Amazon Selling Partners to prepare product content, organize listing drafts, manage product assets, and perform seller-approved publishing actions through Amazon's authorized Selling Partner API.

SellerBowl's planned integration is designed to access protected Amazon seller account information only after explicit selling-partner authorization through Amazon's OAuth flow and to perform any future Amazon action only after a seller-initiated approval step.

How SellerBowl Uses Amazon Data

Data We May Access

Protected Amazon seller account information is sourced only from the official Amazon Selling Partner API after OAuth authorization. SellerBowl does not use scraping, browser automation, unofficial APIs, or third-party datasets to obtain that protected account information. Separate research tools may use seller-provided inputs, licensed public-product observations, and SellerBowl calculations or estimates; those sources do not grant access to the connected seller account. SP-API access may be requested only for:

  • Identifying the connected seller account
  • Reading catalog and listing information
  • Preparing listing updates
  • Validating product type requirements
  • Submitting seller-approved listing changes
  • Managing listing workflow status

What We Do Not Do

SellerBowl is committed to responsible data use. We do not:

  • Sell Amazon seller data
  • Use seller data for unrelated advertising
  • Share seller data with unrelated third parties
  • Use scraping or browser automation to obtain protected Amazon seller account information
  • Collect buyer personal information for listing management workflows
  • Access data outside the permissions granted by the seller
  • Manipulate reviews, ratings, rankings, or search placement

Sellers remain in control of what is submitted to Amazon.

Data Security and Privacy

Amazon account access requires explicit seller OAuth authorization

Protected seller account information is sourced only through official SP-API access

Amazon actions require a seller-initiated approval step

Sellers can revoke authorization through Amazon

Sellers can request deletion of stored integration data

Requested access is limited to approved seller-scoped workflows

SellerBowl requests only the seller-scoped roles needed for enabled workflows. Production web traffic is served over HTTPS, and sensitive credentials are not displayed in the public user interface.

SellerBowl follows commercially reasonable security practices to protect user data.

Compliance Commitment

SellerBowl is designed to support compliant Amazon selling workflows. We do not provide tools that bypass Amazon policies, manipulate customer reviews, or use scraping or browser automation to obtain protected Amazon seller account information. The browser extension separately processes product-page information visible to the user for research; it does not access a connected seller account. SellerBowl does not guarantee ranking, sales, Buy Box placement, or marketplace performance. Sellers are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before submission.

SellerBowl is a workflow platform for e-commerce sellers. Its planned Amazon integration is designed to provide listing preparation, product content management, catalog workflow organization, and seller-approved publishing actions through authorized Amazon SP-API access after approval and implementation. SellerBowl does not use scraping or browser automation to obtain protected Amazon seller account information, manipulate reviews, or bypass Amazon policies. Separate extension research may process public product-page information visible to the user. Any future Amazon account action will require seller authorization and a user-initiated workflow.
